Gilda's Club is having a free community workshop presented by Dr. Herbolt, DC on "Cancer and Nutrition."
In his presentation, Dr Herbolt talks about cancer using a diabetic model explantion of the breakdown of sugars and their role in cancer. I thought this would be useful to our FCN's in general and the Defy Diabetes participants in particular as it illustrates another important reason to eat a healthy diet and keep the BMI in a healthy range.
Presentation is on the morning of Wednesday, May 13 from 10:30 to 12:30 PM at Gilda's Club in Latham.

Gilda's Club offers education and support for persons whose lives have been affected by cancer. The Latham clubhouse is off Wade Rd, just south of the intersection with Route 7, about 1/2 mile west of Latham Farms.
